Luxury Sampler
Our Luxury Sampler offers three exceptional teas and includes: Our Luxury Sampler offers three exceptional teas and includes: 20 grams of Fu Shou Shan (oolong), 10 grams of Organic Huangshan Mao Feng (green tea), and 10 grams of Taiwanese Wild Mountain Black (black tea). The tins are housed in a burgundy organza bag. Below are the three teas offered in this sampler.

Fu Shou Shan
Our Fu Shou Shan utilizes the Ching Xin varietal and originates from Taichung County in Taiwan at a high altitude of approximately 8,500 feet. Fu Shou Shan is the second highest peak in the Lishan Range, exceeding even Lishan Mountain "Pear Mountain", for which the mountain range is named. This lightly oxidized tea (approximately 15-20%) is also known as "The Presidents Tea". Fu Shou Shan is grown in an area that is covered with clouds and fog which creates a moist environment. Due to the high elevation, this region is cooler which means the plants will mature at a slower rate, causing the tea to be full-bodied with a sweet and gentle melon flavor. Orchid notes are predominant and linger long. Light asparagus and grass notes peak their way throughout each sip. Fresh churned butter notes are also noticeable. This well-crafted, high grade tea has a silky mouthfeel and is exceptionally refreshing.

Organic Huangshan Mao Feng-10 grams (7 cups)
Our Organic Huangshan Mao Feng originates from Huangshan in the Anhui province in China and is grown in the Huangshan Sungta organic tea garden. The emerald colored leaves of this gentle green tea have fresh vegetal notes and an intoxicatingly sweet scent. This tea is free of astringency and contains sweet pea, artichoke, white corn, and fresh cut grass notes as well as some light Brazil nut notes. Organic Huangshan Mao Feng is a buttery green that has a surprisingly weighty body and yet is refreshing and juicy.

Taiwanese Wild Mountain Black
Our Taiwanese Wild Mountain Black originates from indigenous wild tea plants grown between 2,500 feet and 5,000 feet in the surrounding mountains of Yuchi Township in Taiwan. The tea picking season for this tea is July through August and the supply is limited because the tea is wild. During this time, the tea master will wake up around 4 a.m. to travel the mountains with local tea pickers in search of wild tea. Similar to our Gui Fei Oolong and Mi Xian Black, the leaves of our Wild Mountain black are also bitten by leafhoppers. These bites cause the plant to initiate the healing process which produces sweet honey notes. Notes of fresh baked pastries and honey linger. Some gentle raisin and caramel notes are also present in this smooth and refreshing tea.
