Malawi White Peony Malawi White Peony originates from Thyolo, a southern town in the southeast African country of Malawi. This rare and truly unique white tea has gorgeous dried leaves that range in color from chocolate to mahogany to rainforest and has a delicate floral aroma. This smooth-bodied white tea starts with light vegetal notes and has mild sweet lime and rose notes that linger. Organic Bai Mu Dan This organic white tea originates from the mountains of the Fujian province in China and is commonly known as 'White Peony'. Organic Bai Mu Dan produces a liquor that is slightly astringent but tastes rich with sweet cream and vegetal notes and is low in caffeine. Organic Silver Needle Also known as Bai Hao Yinzhen, this organic white tea originates north of the Min River in China's Fujian province. This tea is harvested during the first few weeks of the spring's first flush season. Organic Silver Needle has a subtle and smooth yet sweet flavor that is clean and almost honey-like. This full bodied tea is gentle and refreshing and has an intoxicatingly sweet pineapple aroma. We recommend drinking this tea at a warmer temperature to maximize the flavors. This tea was originally intended as an art project inspired by an abstract painting but after hearing positive feedback from a customer who had tried this blend, we decided to make it available on our website. Watermelon Xylophone This delicate tea pairs our lovely Organic Silver Needle with vibrant amaranth petals and a natural watermelon flavor. We highly recommend drinking this tea warm or with sugar to bring out the natural watermelon flavor. At a high temperature the flavor is not as strong. At a warm temperature, this tea is light and refreshing and starts out with floral and honey notes that quickly develop into juicy watermelon notes that linger. Add a little sugar and the tea bursts with a natural juiciness that tastes like fresh watermelon juice and finishes with floral and honey notes. This batch of Watermelon Xylophone is offered at a reduced rate, since we will be using a new Organic Silver Needle that is more expensive for future batches.
